Partner Visa Services

Partner Permant Visa (subclass 100 or 801)

The permanent Partner visa is designed for the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, allowing them to establish permanent residence in Australia. To be eligible for permanent residency, the spousal or de facto relationship must persist for two years after submitting the Partner visa application. The essential criteria for obtaining this visa include:

Permanent Partner Visa Requirements:

  • Maintain an exclusive relationship with your spouse or de facto partner since you applied for the initial Partner visa.

  • Sustain a genuine and ongoing connection.

  • Reside together or undergo temporary separations.

Application Process:

  • Two years post a successful Partner visa application, you become eligible for permanent residency.

  • The primary condition for a permanent visa is that your relationship fulfills the specified requirements.

  • During this phase of the application, you must provide evidence of your eligibility for permanent residency to the "ImmigrationDepartmentLongName" ("ImmigrationDepartmentShortName").

  • The evidence should clearly demonstrate that you've consistently maintained a genuine and mutually exclusive relationship with your de facto partner or spouse since your provisional Partner visa application was lodged.

  • Your location, whether inside or outside Australia, is not a constraint when your permanent visa is granted.
